Block Paving Refurbishment

Block paving refurbishment can restore your driveway or patio in North or South Wales near to its original condition. It takes 3 simple steps:-

Step 1 -After pre treatment with fungicidal wash/weed killer (if necessary) the entire driveway or patio would be cleaned with a professional pressure washer powering a rotary head. This removes all dirt and grime from the surface. That's a Stage 1 clean which most companies carry out and some will only do that. We then do the vital 'Deep Clean' stage which involves going over all of the joints with a high pressure lance. This blasts all the muck and dirt out of the joints, which is vital for a successful job. Please do beat that in mind if you're comparing quotes! 

Step 2 -After being allowed to thoroughly dry, fresh new kiln-dried sand is swept into all the paving joints to help stabilise the blocks and restrict potential growth between gaps in the paving.

Step 3 - We would then apply two coats of Smartseal™ high quality acrylic sealer. Properly sealing the paving gives long term protection from loss of colour, staining, algae and dirt. The added benefit of applying block paving sealer is the jointing sand becomes solid effectively restricting further moss and weed growth.
